Friends of the Globe

If one is a Friend of the Globe then you'll soon discover a beautiful hand-made leather bound book in a case by the Friends Desk at the Globe Theatre. What has been dubbed 'The Bible' comprises a record of all those who have graciously donated to the Globe under the 'closed' scheme over the last 20 years.

We've seen a number of changes and renovations across the Globe Theatre site in recent years, therefore those donors' names inscribed in the once 1000 club, The Flagstones and Supporting Wall sought a new special location.  And so, derived the 'Bible' project, driven by the Friends of the Globe staff; a divine piece where visitors who have supported the continued development and growth of Shakespeare's Globe can now come and find their name.

Shakespeare's Globe Book

The book was produced using Black Gambetta Calf leather, hand sewn in sections, and cased in with raised bands. The book went through many specialised processes including applying a metallic foil to the edge of the book blocks for the elegant gold edge gilding you can see.

Shakespeare's Globe Summer of Love Season has now commenced; for more information on upcoming events and on and on how you can support The Globe's existing projects and programmes visit Any contributions enable a greater number of people to enjoy the work of Shakespeare and his contemporaries for generations to come.

Fun Office Interior Graphics

The month of November saw the design, production and installation of Mentfield’s new office graphics. Designed with vibrancy and fun in mind – the array of graphics scattered throughout the premises left the staff and office manager with a great appreciation for their new workspace.

A combination of colourful cut vinyl, printed wall graphics and colourful signage was designed, printed and installed across their blast freezer spaces, canteen, ping pong table, and sales and boardroom walls.

Our intricate vinyl cutters and in house installation team created a sharp and professional finish which will last for years to come.

The project required flexibility from MJ's side, providing staggered deliverables upon the client's request.  Across the three stages, we were able to refine and perfect various elements to create a unique space specialised for Mentfield’s needs.

Hoarding for stunning new development in SW19

We were recently commissioned by award winning property developers Marshall Hurley to produce a stunning road-side hoarding in South West London.  MJ took lead on the project from conception, design and production right through to delivery and installation.

The sixty panel printed hoarding was installed along Beaumont Road earlier this month with our in-house design team creating the design to suit the leafy surroundings between Southfields and Putney Bridge station.

The 6 commercial unit promenade was purchased by Marshall Hurley to make way for a new development comprising 3 commercial units with flats above. Marshall Hurley will remain the freeholder and will lease the commercial units back to Wandsworth council.

With 20 years’ experience we are always looking to team up with new developers to bridge the gap between construction, design and print. Take a look at some of our other recent hoarding projects.

House of MinaLima - Harry Potter exhibit in London

It’s been a shaky start to Summer, it’s been chucking down with rain for most part of the week, but today, Londoners’ faith is reinstated as we see glimmers of sunshine and blue skies across London. Not that it’s such a bad thing, having to find shelter indoors, with there never short of a thing to do in London. Potter fans especially have something to be excited about as the ‘House of MinaLima’ has opened its doors in the centre of London’s West End.

Locker and Desk Organiser

We've reached the end of another cracking Clerkenwell Design Week. To mark the final day, our subsidiary the LockerBox Company launch the new CLUTTERBOX.

Following on from the highly successfully fully recyclable LOCKERBOX one, the CLUTTERBOX is a more compact unit that is made from a robust foamed PVC board with a smooth matt finish. It is rigid and durable whilst still being lightweight. The CLUTTERBOX is available in a selection of colours and can be either branded with your company logo or fully printed with your own design.

The Creative Workplace

If you’re working in an environment that is grey, linear and well let’s face it dull, those who lead and manage the business may want to start paying more attention to their staff and work environment so they can optimise staff output and performance. Studies have revealed that those who work in a colourful, playful and stimulating workspace are more likely to unleash creativity allowing more innovative ideas to be generated.
