Eco Friendly Signage Solutions

We all want to do right by the environment. But sometimes it is difficult to find a printer that can accommodate this. Alternatives are there, but they can often be difficult to source.

Countries, businesses, and individuals are rapidly accepting responsibility for their corporate and social obligations, implementing environmentally friendly solutions, and setting carbon footprint goals. This includes the signage business, which is eager to assist by introducing new types of eco safe signage. MJCP wants to give more back to our planet. Currently, we have our eyes set on creating a green signage range.

In contrast to the non-environmentally friendly materials and treatments previously utilised in signs, eco-friendly signs use sustainable, renewable resources. Instead of utilising PVC or other plastics, which can take hundreds of years to biodegrade, mindful businesses have begun to use recyclable materials such as wood or polypropylene.

MJCP has recently developed an alternative to the traditional roller banner (which is generally made from non-recyclable plastics). Our banner deviated from traditional standing banners in that it is simpler to set up, lighter, but still just as sturdy. It has been designed to fold away into a carry case for multiple uses and easy transportation. Once it has reached the end of its life, it can be safely broken down and recycled with ease.

Below you can check out a more detailed view of the prototypes that MJCP have created. Our large format, finishing, printing and design departments collaborated to engineer this project.
