Printed Signage - Hospitality Sector

Let’s talk about printed signage essentials for the hospitality sector-

Imagine walking into a restaurant with no signage; you'd have no idea what to do. Whether to wait for a table or find one yourself, where the bar or restrooms are, or what food and drinks are available.

Signs and graphics play a huge role in creating an appealing and friendly space. As well as enticing clients to stop by, window graphics can provide people in your establishment with some privacy. Of course, the most useful purpose of signage is to provide information about your services. Secondary to this, it is important to get your clients feeling relaxed and at ease in your business. If the environment is right, clients will keep coming back. If they've had a great experience, they’re also much more likely to recommend you to family and friends.

Signage has a huge impact on the customer experience, from wayfinding to retail displays, and menu boards to special offer banners.

Eye-catching imagery can attract new customers and welcome back existing ones. Tell everyone about your two-for-one promotion with a banner. Protect staff and customers by using an A-board to display the H&S measures in place. Create personality with artwork, posters, and your businesses values. You need to tell people about your brand throughout the interior of your business.

What kind of external signs do I need?

First, we need to look at the exterior of your premises. This is the first thing people will see. Make a great first impression, and you’ll draw them in. Broken or missing letters or designs that are too busy will not encourage customers to come in.

Imagine you wore old worn pyjamas to a meeting. People wouldn’t take you seriously. If you wore a suit and presented yourself well, people would see that you take yourself seriously. They would be more willing to listen.

We offer a wide range of outdoor signs. MJCP can design, print and install fascia, illuminated, tray and classic flat signage. We can even print and fit a temporary banner so your business doesn’t miss a beat while we work on repairing or replacing the previous sign.

Windows have the second-highest impact on the customer, and glass manifestation is the most practical solution. You can create eye-catching illustrative displays, or install clear information using simple cut vinyl print and lettering. Vinyl is the most diverse material we have on offer, meaning anything you can come up with, we can print.

Your last chance to showcase your business to the customer is through printed street signage. A lot of businesses choose to advertise menus, promote opening hours, or even just write funny slogans and quotes. MJCP offers a wide range of printed materials to suit your business needs. We can print and construct pavement signs, branded barriers, and other street furniture to your exact requirements. We also have conventionally sized signage solutions to suit all budgets.

What kind of internal signs do I need?

Signs, signs everywhere! Interior signs convey a variety of messages to customers about the locations of facilities throughout the premises, such as where the toilets are and show parents where the baby changing facilities are located. They can warn people about hazards in public and private buildings such as hot water warning signs, slip hazards and more.

Your first priorities should be safety signage, advertising what you’re offering, and directing your customers to important facilities.

At MJCP, we offer a comprehensive project management service with industry professionals and decades of combined experience. If you already know what you need, let's take a look at what’s on offer.

Our safety signage is generally printed direct to the substrate of your choice and laminated to ensure longevity. We can print directly to E-Flute, foamboard and composite aluminium. These materials are sturdy and can be finished with a dry-wipe laminate. The choice of substrate and finish would depend on the location your signage would be fitted.

You can display your menus and special offers to attract customers to buy or return. This is your chance to get creative. There are various solutions, with our pop-up displays, roller banners, table talkers, illuminated signage, digital menus and braille/tactile signage.

For wayfinding, the most appropriate formats are floor graphics and hanging signs. For floor graphics, we use scratch-resistant vinyl over-laminate and a base material (which shows the floor graphics). Hanging signs can be made from just about any material that works for your brand, whether it be wooden panels or simple foamboard signs. An on-site survey is highly recommended to ensure we can supply you with the correct solution.
