The New Factory
MJCP are now based at The Factory 230 City Road on the edge of Shoreditch. A short walk from Old Street, Hoxton and Angel train stations. We find ourselves in the heart of some new amazing developments.
Only across the road is the award-winning new City Road landmark building, The Arc and a few seconds along the road is the Foster Architects designed 250 City Road Berkeley Homes mixed development, with its funky NhowHotel and its beautiful gardens. Our new space is over 15,000sqft, giving us lots of room for more creative opportunities.
As you can probably imagine, moving such large equipment like our Canon Arizona flatbed printer and Esko Kongsberg CNC cutter. We were grateful for the Canon and Esko teams who helped us along the way.
We were able to move all our printers and finishing equipment, along with our small format digital printing, reprographics and bindery departments, all within the space of a week.
Our next step is to customise our new space with a creative twist. We plan to try out some new and existing ideas for the fit-out, including some interesting wall and window graphics. Our wayfinding signage will be produced in-house along with floor graphics and some specialist wooden wall art. We also intend to incorporate an art gallery and coffee shop within the space. Please keep an eye open for what's to come!
